Octo Finissimo Chrono GMT
Erik at Radcliffe let me handle a skeleton Octo Finissimo on a gator strap many years ago, but it didn’t click. The strap connection at the lugs felt awkward and fragile, and didn’t feel like a cohesive design. Since then the periphery platinum rotor of the Chronograph GMT caught my attention so I started researching more. I was surprised that this version trades in the same price category at the time only. Always a bottom feeder, I pulled the trigger and I am amazed at the mind bending wearing experience of this watch. I am still coming to grips with the reality that this watch is robust, accurate, and attainable.
