Super cool watch...

I'm not surprised at all this watch has gotten so popular lately...
1. It's a really cool Genta design.
2. It's super slim. The slimness is haute horlogerie (the movement is not haute horlogerie, but the slimness definitely is). The slimness makes it elegant for a variety of settings.
3. It's a wholly integrated concept; Bulgari designed an amazing slim watch, decided they couldn't find suppliers to make the movement that was as slim as their design required, and decided to take their in-house competency and develop the movement themselves. This is the right way to do things.
4. Vertically integrated! Bulgari makes the case, the bracelet, the movement, and even the dial. This is a manufacture movement. This movement is also not outsourced for other brands (at least not yet) so it's definitely a manufacture watch.
5. Slim watches are known to be unreliable, less accurate, but so far Bulgari Octo Finissimo timepieces don't seem to have too many problems. Our member Ted-Lo had a small problem with his ceramic bracelet and was kind enough to share it with us.
6. I have a term that I give to versatile watches. "James Bond watches" are watches that are both sporty and elegant, that can be worn with a Tuxedo or with beach attire. Any watch that looks good in both sporty attire or with formal attire can be considered a James Bond watch by my definition. This watch qualifies. Bulgari also has a 100m water resistance model in polished and brushed steel (a la Royal Oak et a la Nautilus) with a black or blue dial!
Such a cool watch. Just the most difficult decision is which one to get...
