BVLGARI seems popular in your country....at least by my observation of shops in the airport
Your comment: "pure horology" starts a different discussion.
In the past, clocks and watches were sold by your local jeweller as the manufacturers did not have their own boutiques. Most jewellers also bought movements and put them in their own watches and brands e.g. Bucherer, Tiffany, Cartier, etc.
In fact, most older "pure horology" brands started by supplying movements to jewellers or specialists watch assembliers who put their own brand name on.
Piaget made movements for 80+ years before they put their own name on watches in 1942. They added jewellery in the 1960s. Their movements are found in many famous brands.
Cartier made some of the earliest series production wristwatches for civilians; more than 100 years ago but using movements from specialists like LeCoultre and EWC.
Now, they also make their own 'haute horlogerie' movements.
Chopard started as a watchmaker in 1860 before adding jewellery in the 1960s after a jewellery family revived the company.
Bulgari has been making watches for more than 80 years and owned "pure" watch factories like Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth since 2000.
Today, Bulgari has the ability to make their own movements, case, bracelet and dials; which, is more than many "pure horology" brands.
