That same shape was used by Breguet for their pocket watches in the very early years. I thing it is a great idea to bring it back in the Tradition series. George

Thank you for your kind words :) I think the blue dial is another quite beautiful version which gives a the dial real definition. It stands out more so I think you have to accept that it may not be
quite as harmonious with the rest of the movement as the silver dial version, but that is OK in my opinion. I would love to see one in the flesh. What do you think Spangles ? Best Will.

Blue, whether on the hands or dial, helps to add something to the mostly monochromatic movement. The blue dial makes this accent color a major player, giving attention but at the cost of the classic understatement of the previous version. I agree that see...

I haven't considered the tradition on rubber before, Its not the easiest watch to experiment with straps on as the lug screws are white gold and will damage easily is not handled with care. The Marine
has the design, water resistance and all purpose look that is far more suited. If I were to funk up my Tradition then I would go with a brightly colored leather. ...
