I haven't considered the tradition on rubber before, Its not the easiest watch to experiment with straps on as the lug screws are white gold and will damage easily is not handled with care. The Marine

has the design, water resistance and all purpose look that is far more suited. If I were to funk up my Tradition then I would go with a brightly colored leather.

That same shape was used by Breguet for their pocket watches in the very early years. I thing it is a great idea to bring it back in the Tradition series. George
