The Marine 5817 is extremely precise
i have it now for almost a year , and i am impressed by it's accuracy.
Personally, i have never seen a so accurate mechanical watch ... my IWC Portuguese Automatic 2001 was a beautiful piece of movement , but gained + 1 second a day, the IWC Portuguese chrono (3714) few seconds a week. Not to speak about my Omega Seamaster and the Cartier Pasha C who live their lives in another dimension... 
My Breguet is keeping time almost perfectly, just losing (or gaining, who cares) few seconds a MONTH !!
This is a perfect watch for an everyday use .. with so much class.

Hi Samir.... I agree entirely with you on the 5817...I like nice things but I really appreciate nice things that work and do what they are supposed to do and the Breguet 5817 does everything beautifully. There are some side effects though when you own a 5...
