Thanks so much for this post. I hope to visit the Boutique later this year and it looks like it will really be worth the effort. I understand that the museum is upstairs? Do you have any pictures to whet my appetite, or didn’t you get past these fabulous watches on the ground floor!
I have thought long and hard about the WG and YG versions of the La Tradition and, as I have commented on this forum before, more than many watches with versions in multiple metals, these La Traditions have very different personalities.
The WG is like a sparkly jewel, and I actually find the YG the more understated. I feel that the time subdial contrasts more with the YG, and of course the whole idea of the Tradition is to follow in the footsteps of A.-L. Breguet’s creations, part of which is the matched gold colour. My personal choice is therefore the YG, but both watches are beautiful.
