Breguet 5817 big date alignment
By: arnohk : May 24th, 2018-23:57
Dear all Breguet 5817 owners, My name is Arno, from Hong Kong. I am interested in the 5817 and went to a shop to try on the wrist. However, I noticed the date seems not aligned. I have tried to capture the photo with "26" which is one of the most obvious ...

But try 22 instead of 26. Maybe the misalignment you see is just due to the fact that the 6 starts on a higher level in its wheel compared to the 2. So the wheels can be aligned but the 6 due to its form starts on a slightly higher level.

For me everything about the watch is great but...

The font of the date wheel clashes greatly with the Roman Numerals for the hour markers. The watch would be bang on without a date (but that kind of applies to most watches for me)
