... to have the perpetual 5327 and desire also the classique 7337 ? I sure do not want to throw money away... My other option is to start to save and buy a Breguet Tourbillon... Maybe the Tradition Tourbillon, which costs about 5 times the price of 7337.....  

Ok, a Breguet pc is very interesting as the complication is great, but too close, aesthetically speaking, to the ' Chinese ". As you already own the Tradition and you will get the " Chinese " ( if not already done...LOL ), I'd go on another great Classic ... 

... You used this description before... What exactly means, in watch terms? I have the perpetual 5327 already ( I do not have any Tradition model, but I also own the YG Marine...), so maybe you are right about covering the models... Your "gout" is towards... 

Don't know who to credit for, but this is a brilliant pic of a " Chinese ": As for the tourbi, I woulp pass on the Tradition Tourbi, 1st because you alredy own the Tradition, then because I'm not a big fan of its huge plexy... Not for a watch like this Tr...

You will be, with the RG Messidor, way less than 100 K Euros. I don't have the list price with me, but I'm pretty sure that it is way less expensive than the Tradition Tourbillon. Yes " Chinoise " for us, Frenchies. Best, my friend. Nicolas

I actually tried it on a couple of times and its very very hard to read the time. But of course with the open worked frame, reading of the time could indeed be very much a secondary intent LOL. It is however a very eye catching and stunning piece.

But it is a fact that it is known in France under this nickname. Didn't mean to offend anyone, while using this nickname, as it is the case when we name the GPF 2 / 56 or its Re Edition Pam 341 Egiziano, or the 6154 " the Small Egiziano ", or the Rolex 16... 

I totally am in support of using the nicknames that watches get, but when the nickname has some racial underpinnings to it, that's when we shouldn't be using that nickname. Cheers, Anthony

Chinese art is amongst the very best ever made. One could assume that the nickname came because of the beauty and the symmetry of the watch I highly doubt that the watch was given this name as an offensive or a mockery of the chinese race. China has a lon... 

I'm not a fan of the Tradition Tourby, to me it looks odd with the dial and tourby above it which is distracting from looking. The regular La Tradition, well that's a awesome piece! My personal choice would be the 7337! -MW

... and as you know I agree on most points... It really seems that the 7337, although I like it very much, is covered my the 5327... Which is the refence number of the second tourbillon on your post? I find it magnificent... Does it have a Piguet or Leman...

Hi Jack, Interesting comments on the plate finishes of the Tradition line. This is apparently produced by a hand sandblasting process on the gold-plated brass, although I have never read or seen much detail on this. It is of course designed to mimic A.-L....

Hello Tassos, If the7337 was a perpetual calendar I would be very much tempted change it for mine,but it is'nt... Aesthetics of the 7337 are great for sure. The tourbillon is a remarkable piece but not my cup o' tea cheers, Lutz
