BTW, when you mentioned Gong spring, you were simply alluding to the fact that Breguet invented the gong that are used in most of modern day minute repeater right? I looked it up and it seem the gong that Breguet is using is just like gongs from other houses, or am I still missing something?

Yes, you are right ! To my knowledge, the lower frequency can be as accurate if the regulation is done right. A lower frequency, may be more susceptible to shock or external movement, which could disturb the oscillation. Thanks for viewing. Kong

I was in the NYC boutique earlier this week, and they must not have gotten one yet One question, the gongs appeared to be the same color as the case, it that just a coating, or are they made out of something other than the usual steel? A

It's a beautiful watch, the intricate carvings visible from the back are especially appealing. Lastly, all of Kong's photos will always make a beautiful watch look even more beautiful. I'll make no secret of it, I'm not happy with how Breguet minute repea...
