I must have missed your report, Xavier, ....which is well done by the way!
I was told by the boutique manager in Zurich that the original 2639 was "oblongue" (thats also what the extract of the archive says) but not necesseraly egg-shaped like the current Reine de Naples collection.
Is this in line with your understanding or do you have differnt information?
