I don't know much about modern day Brequet (except that I like them) but if there was ever a brand to associate with a Tourbillon it would be Breguet. Regardless, this is a nice choice to make.
I always felt like tourbillons are better in full display in the back, not in the front so split second for me. The tourbillon dial is also too busy for my taste, even if extremely well executed.
Both are pieces of art but if I had to choose, I’d go for the chronograph, purely for aesthetic reasons. The hole in the dial, to display the Tourbillon mechanism, is not my taste.
Both are heartbreaking. Completely love them. Two masterpieces. Two dream watches. But If I had to choose, it will definitely be the tourbillon. The tourbillon is so much Breguet and so gorgeous integrated like this.
both are beautiful. I don't like the "spider-looking" hands on the chronograph. Hard to tell the time. While the tourbillon is a "hole" in the dial, it to me is such a spectacular element to love.
For several reasons that have already been mentioned + one more so far not highlighted by anyone - I believe long hands are much nicer than short ones.
I don't think either of these look good on my wrist sadly. My wrist is a little small for these large pieces. But that aside, I do have a slight preference for the chronograph!
I think Breguet is one of the few brands I’d be ok owning super complicated pieces from because of their strangely reasonable service costs and number of service points too.
