Which of these 2 would you prefer the most ?

Tourbillion

I don't know much about modern day Brequet (except that I like them) but if there was ever a brand to associate with a Tourbillon it would be Breguet. Regardless, this is a nice choice to make.

Personally

I always felt like tourbillons are better in full display in the back, not in the front so split second for me. The tourbillon dial is also too busy for my taste, even if extremely well executed.

I agree, a turbo is more than enough.

Seems to be a Breguet feature flaw, not being able to draw a clean dial, though I must admit that there are just too many tiny indicators

Chrono, without a doubt.

I use a chrono multiple times daily, and the calendar on the tourbillon will need time-consuming resetting each time the watch gets restarted.

Both are pieces of art but if I had to choose, I’d go for the chronograph, purely for aesthetic reasons. The hole in the dial, to display the Tourbillon mechanism, is not my taste.

Woooww Bruno! What a question.

Both are heartbreaking. Completely love them. Two masterpieces. Two dream watches. But If I had to choose, it will definitely be the tourbillon. The tourbillon is so much Breguet and so gorgeous integrated like this.

My friend calls these champagne problems!

Split second for me. Both are amazing, but as noted above, I find the simplicity of the dial on the split chrono very appealing.

What a duo, Bruno M1!

I'd opt for the Tourbillon. The split proved to be a bit too large for me -- eventually settled on a ref. 3237.

Definitely the tourbillon, although....

both are beautiful. I don't like the "spider-looking" hands on the chronograph. Hard to tell the time. While the tourbillon is a "hole" in the dial, it to me is such a spectacular element to love.

Here, the rattrapante.

This seconds hand walking over an empty dial really kills the Tourbillon for me.

Beautiful duo...

and glad that you can have both! From your pic, I prefer the split second chronograph.

For several reasons that have already been mentioned + one more so far not highlighted by anyone - I believe long hands are much nicer than short ones.

Gorgeous pieces.

I don't think either of these look good on my wrist sadly. My wrist is a little small for these large pieces. But that aside, I do have a slight preference for the chronograph!

The tourbillon personally

I think Breguet is one of the few brands I’d be ok owning super complicated pieces from because of their strangely reasonable service costs and number of service points too.
