Breguet

I’m playing with this piece for a while, went back to the boutique twice and the love is still there. I just don’t have any experience with this movement, or field report regarding reliability. I know it has a Lemania movement(which is a huge plus), also ...  

the power reserve indicator is a bit too long, other than than thumbs up!

I think this watch is *gorgeous*.

I think some Breguet movements were so so in the past but I have no clue about this one. Legibility might not be its forte, but its charm is indeed in those extra long and thin hands. If I may, I would say go for it!

…’upside down’ moon phase that I really like. If the power reserve was ‘up’ when full it would suit my OCD better though : )

For me I love the look as a great reflection of the Breguet style, and the long PR hand especially. But I’ve always been conflicted with a moonphase without a date. I am a stickler for moon phase indications being accurate, and a dress watch that would be... 

Interesting observation about the moon phase. Hmmm, something to think about...

It's just as easy to google the day of the moon as it is the date or time. Setting is simple with that.

But with a date, if the watch ran down several days ago, it’s easier in my mind to advance the hands through several days to the correct date than to get out the stylus and look up the current moon phase. With a power reserve of 38 hours, one will want to...

Love the extra long seconds hand! This watch is a no-brainer over many of its peers.

Always a joy to wear. So good! And very legible in person (do people not know the second hand moves??? It's an easy to read watch!) ...  

Did you had any issues with it?

Seems very reliable in a few years of wearing in rotation, winding is very efficient. Accuracy is good.

And you are right,any of these overhyped independents would charge double the price for this watch. As for the movement,one should not oversee that these have been heavily modified and improved by Breguet including modern silicon technology. I have a few ...

Too many hands pointing in different directions for my personal purist taste but I am sure this feature will appeal to some If you like it then go ahead, I am sure the timekeeping and reliability is spot on.
