LAS VEGAS (April 25, 2013) —Breguet, the world renowned watch brand, continues its legacy of arts and culture preservation with major support of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Las Vegas' long-awaited cultural centerpiece featuring a blend of performances by resident companies, first-run touring attractions, lectures and internationally acclaimed performers in music, theater and dance from across the globe. On the evening of April 24, 2013, Breguet celebrated The Smith's Center's inaugural invitation-only Chairman's Celebration, attended by the institution's board members, most generous donors and community partners.

The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception held in the center's plush courtyard decked out in spring floral and eye-catching Breguet displays before heading inside to the stunning Reynolds Hall stage. Chairman of the Board, Don Snyder, shared remarks before the attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening of entertainment reminiscent of the Cast Party in New York City with performances from surprise vocalists seated among the crowd.  In attendance were Elaine Wynn, of Wynn Resorts; Roger Thomas, executive vice president design for Wynn Design and Development; Rob Oseland, president and CEO of SLS Las Vegas soon to open in 2014; and Rob Roy, Switch Communications founder and CEO along with wife Stella.


"In what our guests considered a magical evening, the signature touches from Breguet made our first-ever Chairman's Dinner that much more of a spectacular and exquisite occasion," said Myron Martin, president and CEO of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. "We were honored to have Breguet as a partner in this very special celebration for our valued donors and community partners."

 

Integrated into the program of the evening were showcases of some of Breguet's most luxurious timepieces. Guests were treated to a special viewing of Breguet's most notable timepieces such as a Classique Tourbillon, the award-winning Hora Mundi world time watch, and exquisite high jewelry collection which included a Marie-Antoinette Dentelle watch adorned with diamonds throughout the dial and caseband.

 

The Breguet Boutique in Las Vegas is located at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino.
