And to be honest, at the right angle, this is by far the best representation of waves at sea by a large margin. That being said, the indices are a big miss in my opinion and detract from the overall elegance of the watch.
I also tried one on recently at the boutique-I would be very happy to own one. I also tried the titanium version and was astonished how lightweight it felt. The dial and heft on the white gold are definitely good points.
I find the dials (both the Ti and the gold versions) fantastic. The case and bracelet (or strap buckle) are nicely done as well. The intricacy of the Ti is impressive as many cases in that metal are much simpler.
