Breguet 5307 Tourbillon
About 2 years ago, while in Carmel, California, I happened upon a photo in a magazine for the Breguet 5307. I was drawn to the page, not by the watch, but rather by the quote associated with it. The quote was from one of my favorite books, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas and spoke of the Breguet brand. Not knowing anything useful about watches, I thought I would see if I could pick up that watch. You can imagine my sticker shock. Nevertheless, I have been in love with that specific watch ever since despite the numerous mechanical watches I have purchased in the interim. Imagine my surprise when my wife bought me that exact watch last week! I am now the proud owner of a Breguet 5307 tourbillon but know so little about the watch. Please educate me so that I may take proper care of this beautiful masterpiece. For example, do I need to have it serviced regularly?
