Having seen both side by side at a Breguet Boutique
personally I prefer the original 7097, but both are undeniably nice!
The colour palate is beautiful. I do have an issue though with that ostentatious power reserve indicator taking a bite out of the 'clock' at 12.
In my unlettered opinion, that lovely clock - so much more than a 'sub-dial' - should be the unobstructed focus, mounted on the dial like a masthead, with all of the visible mechanics presented in their supportive roles. Perhaps Breguet is riffing here on...

I think this is a lot of watch for the money, if I didn’t have the 7047 it would be the one I would buy…Jim
