5907 production information?

I've recently added this little gem but, as with so many Breguets, it's hard to find information. It seems clear to me just from looking at it that the 5907's design means to reference the Empire of the mid-century, but I haven't found any sources corroborating that thought. Anyone know? I am--relatedly--curious when this reference was first introduced by Breguet.

5907 history is what I'm after!

you might enjoy reading this page dedicated to the appearance of guilloché in watchmaking in 1786. You could also check: this article from Monochrome this page from Patina Watch Studio Not ideal, but I hope it helps, somehow... Best, Emmanuel

Congrats Ian!

That is a special sleek and compact timepiece . You’ll never have to worry about this one wearing too cumbersome at 34 mm! 👍🏻 Some recent ones for sale appear to have production dates from approx 1995-2005. Enjoy that treasure my friend!

Thanks Jesse!

The concentric brushing in the ring that contains the numerals is really beautiful (not well represented in this photo) and all the more beautiful as a light texture set off against the deep texture of the guilloche. I don't know a thing about the fill of...

Congrats on acquiring this beauty!

I’m looking into history of Breguet Empire in general. It is indeed very hard to find any sources even on vast internet.
