winding 5827
Just got 5827 in RG on rubber strap about a week ago. It is beautiful and I believe is the best in its price category across all brands. Pics to follow.
I have a question about winding.
For now I am planning to use it on the weekends, so if I use automatic winding say on Saturday, it doesnt have enough 'power' to carry it thru Sunday afternoon. It usually stops Sunday morning. And I have to re-adjust time again. So the only option I have now is a mechanical winding on Saturday which is enough for the whole weekend and which is perfectly fine-but then I have to repeat this process every Saturday. Is it ok to do that weekly?
I know some people use rotator box but according to breguet.watchprosite.com
Brequet doesnt seems to recommend to do that very often.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Andrew

Give 20 / 30 turns to the wxrown, and then wear it one day... Then check the power reserve. You can't expect to get enough power reserve just shacking your watch and putting it on your wrist. Always give some 20 turns to the crown, then wear it. Best, Nic...

Give 20 turns to the crown. Wear your watch all the day. Then store it, let's say at 10 PM. Then, check the day after if it still works. When it stops, you'll know how long the power reserve is. Best, Nicolas
