Type XX . Reflective?
Hi,
I am deciding whether to purchase a Type XX. My only concern is its dome crystal.
How reflective is it? Is there any AR coating at all (on the underside perhaps?) It is annoying to look at in real-life?
I like the watch a lot, and except the movement which is not quite as refine as that in the BP Flyback or AP RO, its design is nice and I will have a choice of both strap and bracelet.
If the crystal of the XX is quite impractical, then I may have to look elsewhere, having to settle down for a BP Flyback even.

it's not overly reflective IMHO
Hi Born, The Type XX crystal is domed, and that alone keeps the reflections down somewhat. I'm not sure if it has any AR coating, but it's not bad as far as glare is concerned in my experience. I much prefer non-AR-coated crystals myself though as I reall...
