Did they ever sell that red version?
Was this not just the prototype? I did have it in hand but i did not like it at all. I had a lot of personal contacts with Breguet, when it was presented with the red "10Hz". In all honesty, I told them, that I found that red print awful for a classic(!) watch of this kind. To my relief, I had the opportunity to get that beautiful and innovative watch with the now know silver print a year later.

I get that the original A.L.Breguet was an innovator so they are trying to have a taste of that. What do you think of the idea of a Breguet spring drive?

The 10 Hz is an outstanding watch
No other manufacturer is offering a magnetic bearing for the balance wheel, hence this watch is offering a lot of modern watch making. I would be vey proud to own it.
The 10Hz designation on the dial is like a blemish
The 7147 is a classic dress watch. The 7727 is a technological tour de force. The most important element of a watch for me is the aesthetic and the 7727 dial is slightly marred with the unnecessary script.

The 10hz is definitely a challenge to people's ideas of Breguet, intentionally reminding people that modern innovation is part of the package. I do wonder how it will age!

I don't know if the red print version ever went beyond a prototype.
Thank you for being one of the voices telling Breguet an honest take on things. I had a Breguet higher up insist that people really want the 10hz on the dial. I don't mind it at all, but it's possible he also believed the earth is flat. In any case, I hop...
