This is awful on so many levels...
I had heard about the release of this, and obtained an image from Sam at the Blancpain boutique in NYC. Totally saddened when I saw the image. The numbering is terrible. I'll leave the blue mother of pearl to someone else, but not sure what the goal was here.
So I'm left with several thoughts. Do I hold off on buying a special edition FF so I can get a 40mm case size, because this model reflects a plan for future models? Do I give up entirely on Blancpain because they has lost their way except for special editions?
But a complete and utter "ugh" on this watch.

I’ve been offered this by the BP boutique. Apparently it’s only for the Asian market but the boutique is getting 5 pieces. I can’t find any info on it though!! ...

Never seen it. Definitely looks more feminine to me. Mother of pearl dial is definitely more feminine IMO. Got curious of what this reference is though as I couldn’t find info on it

a 40mm FF would definitely be welcomed by many enthusiasts... i know there was a limited release some years ago but these are not so easy to find...
I have stopped believing. We would have one by now if they really wanted to.
As long as “enthusiasts” seem to like crappy tributes in limited runs, there won’t be any regular offering.

A ladies diver. This would be a hard time for you. The only way is to go for a 42mm and more FF Blancpain. Or ignore us all, and do what you want, because you wear what you want.
I understand from BP that this is the basis of future models
Let’s see whether they will announce all this in ‘23 or before
Let’s just hope it will have the right movement
And not the legacy of the current 40mm tributes which is vastly inferior to that of the 5015 series.

Simply a couple of things: movement designed for dressed watches (ultra-thin, self-proclaimed) and as such less sturdy for sports watches, designed by FPiguet (at the time was a supplier to BP, later acquired) and not in-house and purpose built like the m...
