New BP FF?

Oct 11, 2021,21:49 PM

I am considering buying a blue Blancpain FF, either in titanium or steel. However, when browsing BP’s site I just found this picture of what appears to be a new FF. Does anyone have any further info? I like the CB vibe they have going on here with the numerals. If this is really coming out soon, may be willing to wait before pulling the trigger. Any info much appreciated.

It was posted here (and on their IG). www.watchprosite.com I'm not so keen on this vivid blue, the transparent dial (or maybe mother of pearl?) or the numerals around the dial or bezel font. I hope there are others! I'm also eyeing a Ti FF...but w...

Ah thanks. Missed that.

This does look a lot smaller than the 45mm the titanium comes in. Well let’s wait and see.

OK, but is it a LE. :)

I agree

I like most of their previous, navy blues but this blue is too vivid and the numerals make the dial too busy. If BP do bring out a < 41mm FF, I hope they will eventually bring out a new, hacking, 4Hz movement too, not based on the 1150/1151 series.

+1

It lost much of the FF DNA

Alas.

Big fan but not this one

I love the FF series but this one, it seems out of balance with the outer ring being too thick leaving not enough room inside for the numbers. The blue is euh well very very hard blue. And if it’s 40 mm then it’s lost all connection with the originals. O ...

Love it!!

But wish they would get rid of that dang date module . . . sigh

Very exciting! I prefer everything about the TI version but best to try them side by side to decide for yourself

TI will be darker in color but lighter in weight and has a physical warmer feel and aesthetically more serious look due to the brushed finish. The stainless model will be brighter and pop more partly just because stainless is a lighter colored metal and p...

Thanks for this. I need to see the two dials side by side

Other than the dial the Titanium is the clear winner. Lighter, slimmer looks and transparant caseback.

Btw: do you know whether the flinqué dial on the steel

is hand-finished similar to Breguet’s guilloché?

It is, yes

Not sure if it is in production still though

Really? Anywhere we can find this.

It may sway me, again!

Sorry - i meant can we find a source for the dial being handfinished?

Have had no luck looking online so far.

As I own the blue flingué since many many years

and had it bought from Blancpain’s own boutique, I can confirm that it is. The information comes from the factory and people I trust a lot.

Thanks!

Now it’s dial vs weight + caseback. And perhaps the flinque only being available used.

Good luck!!
