I am ALSO an extremely longtime admirer of the Fifty Fathoms, but I've still never owned one. Like you I tried and failed to persuade myself I could wear the 45mm version. Like you I found the 42mm titanium mildly disappointing. Still not sure which, if any of these, is actually right for me, but that one looks very right for you! Your patience rewarded!

I am with you on the 45mm…no matter how much I like a watch, I have to be comfortable with how it sits and looks on my wrist. If not I will rather pass. This looks just perfect! Enjoy!

Of course…there is definitely one segment of collectors that finds 45mm works best..
Same for some other brands…they do offer different sizes for certain product lines…👍🏻🥂

My guess is that Blancpain with only utilize stainless steel for LE Fifty Fathoms . . .
I’m thinking we will see a future MilSpec, No Rad, and Ocean Commitment in this new 42.3mm case size.🤷 Thanks, Ian!🥂

The black dial was always my primary choice!
We share a love for blue dialed watches. But the vial dial 45mm FF is a titanium edition. Once again, I’m simply not a fan of titanium. Thanks, Larry!🥂
