It depends…
The lighter blue effects were all created in strong sunlight (most of the shown photos in this post were taken on a boat in midsummer).
Normally - in daily life - the dial seems to be a much darker blue with a small contrast between the two rings. But also this can vary due to the light conditions, and the inner field can really „pop out“.
The bezel is dark blue in daily life and - to my eyes - seems to have the same colour as the outer ring of the dial.
It’s part of the joy to look at this gem that it shines in so different ways and colours.
