.... the engraving on the inner botton is in french writings...,
I have an old FF with french and an old milspec I with english engravings..., who knows more about the history of these details.
Were some watches made specially for the french market LIP ? or from suisse french language ???
and by the way... is there anybody in the wide vintage FF-world who has details about the history of the mechanism of the Bezel turning systems. There seem to be different styles of the mechanic...who has details pictures paintings of the constructionplans....

Yes, my understanding is that it depended on the market.
Which explains the language used on the dust covers. As for the bezels, this is the same technique than the one used on th vintage Subs... Inside the bezel, you have a wire. Wich tightens the bezel. I will try to take a pictures of the Inside of the bezel...

Well said! It is true that vintage BP appeals to many collectors but only a small batch of true enthusiasts that have owned and enjoyed a broad range of them all! Few of them were ever produced and fewer have survived, Most are held in private collections...
