I think the 1735 is a benchmark achievement in modern mechanic horology....

 

I also think that this achievement helped navigating the whole Swiss watch industry back to the traditional path and set new standards that nowadays are taken for granted.
One needed a true vision then by the end of the 1980's when all trinity and non-trinity brands were expanding their quartz production to plan and execute such a masterpiece.
By the way Nicolas, when I visited Blancpain last year, it was mentioned that only one 1735 was produced per year.
If I would be faced with the usual question as 'if, what would be your only watch to posses'....for me it's a BP 1735...but that's just theory, since those guys do not show up almost...and I don't have so much to sell....😂😂😂..😞 😞😞..
