Blancpain

It’s the OEM sailcloth that used to be mounted with the Aqualung LE of the 45mm FF. I use the double folding clasp of the FF 45mm, to spare the strap. It’s kind of different, isn’t it? Curious to hear your thoughts. ...  

I find that the simplicity and versatility of the Bathyscaphe allows it to be paired with a lot of Blancpain straps, giving it a totally different flavour each time.

Don’t you prefer the nato for the Summer? Sailcloth straps suffer a lot in salty water.

The answer is the rubber strap from the 500 Fathoms which has a lot of ports for water and cooling but in rubber which seems to do better than the sailcloth. Sadly the rubber strap for the 45mm and Bathyscaphe didn't get the same treatment. I don't love t...

And the sailcloth gives a nice texture to it. Good sporty look. Totally not ugly.

Thanks. It’s easy to wear and it sweats less than the ordinary sailcloth straps (my preferred choice for my Blancpains in the Winter).

For a long time and when I was younger I used to wear my Seiko SKX on a black rubber rally strap with a similar design and it's one of my favorite straps ever.
