From the sound of things it would seem that few of you are familiar with Henrik's superb "Blancpain Blog"—a source of solid scholarship, with photos of peerless beauty.

Shashay on over there (as we'd say in the Midwest) and you won't be disappointed! [Shashay: verb (used without object); Informal; "to glide, move, or proceed easily or nonchalantly" (dictionary.com)]
I'm late to Henrik's party, having discovered his site only a few weeks ago. But I was immediately struck by the sincereity and earnestness of his writing, and totally smitten by his photography. Heretofore the Chinese Calendar was my grail Blancpain. But the Inverse made have stolen my heart. Without enthusiasts like Henrik (and many of you who have commented here, and who I read almost daily), appreciating timepieces of such high calibre wouldn't be possible among tens of thousands of acres of corn and soybeans. Thanks to all of you! But here, especially to Henrik for his devotion to Blancpain, and for his desire to share. Kudos! FH
