A good year for Blancpain.
Let's start with the ones I don't like: The L-Evolution Phase de lune and semainier with their huge figures and the Super Trofeo.
I'm not over excited by the Villeret Moonphase, I already find them old-fashioned.
BUT I really love the L-Evolution Carrousel Saphir: it makes me think about the Corum Golden Bridge in a "round case". I really love the work on the caliber, Blancpain managed to create a simple layout of a complex caliber.
The Carrousel Répétion Minutes is impressive and beautiful.
And...
I really like the Tribute to the Fifty.

while the marker was purposedly made to give vintage look, it appears too small relative to dial and hands and do not bode well with the sapphire bezel. larger marker with WG fringe (like the 2007 model) would have been much better and of-course San date ...

I nearly died of dehydration...
cos I drooled too much!! My favourite out of these is the 13R0 movement... and that enamel dial.... Blancpain seems to be raising the bar for the game!!!
