It has many threads of past design about it. The Alfa TZ1 coupe is clearly this car's primary inspiration, but the modern Zagato also bears the hallmark of other cars build on the same basic Kamm-tail idea during the period; Ferrari 250 GT SWB "Breadvan" ...
I would have liked to have a discussion with you, and the car and a bottle of wine in front of us.
But we'll manage some day!
