Whilst not discussing prices here!!! or is that just watches?
This is what happens when they print money like confetti it no longer has any real meaning or value. I find it very hard to understand that when growing up being a Millionaire was a big deal and there weren't that many of them. Now so many millionaires and even billionaires exist it's far from being a rarity, so just where has all this money suddenly come into existence from? over the last 50 years.
What I find even stranger is whilst cars have not only become much more expensive but how much faster they have got to from my youth when a 5 seconds 0-60 mph was fast we now see 2-2.5 seconds 0-60 mph. But as the roads are far more congested and are having their speed limits reduced plus so many cameras unless you can access an autobahn or race track what's the point? I really don't get it but then I am getting old now.

The original price I saw came from a country where the CO2 emissions resulted is a large portion of the price being taxes, no t the price charged by Alpine itself…

Well, the datas are very good, not exceptional, for Alpine in general. 3, 8 secs for the 0 to 100, and 285 Km/h. The most important thing for alpine is the driving sensations.
Which is already very good with Pure, S, GT and R. In my opinion, no need to go for this one. As for prices, except this one, the feelings / price ratio is almost unbeatable. Best, Marc, Nicolas

Or maybe I should instead say, if the car is "too" fast, it lessens the obtainable enjoyment on regular roads. I have a friend with a Lambo Huracan, Ferrari 458, C8 Z06, and one of the special 911s (not sure which one TBH). He prefers to drive his old man...
Well, I think you can be inspired by some ideas, with this one. The rims, for example, which come from one supplier who works with the competition department. Same for the brakes.
So you can have something excellent, for much less, and for an equal enjoyment.

I agree that things may change in the next 5 to 10 years. Maybe we'll have Hydrogen engines? Maybe EV will have much more autonomy? Less Expensive than they are right now?
Many questions about EV cars, for sure. If they have an autonomy of 100 kilometers, and that you have to spend 5 minutes for a full refill, and if the prices are much lower than now, then it might be a solution. In the meantime, I am very happy with my tw...
