Yesterday afternoon I attended another lovely Aston Martin Owners Club event at the Tam O'Shanter, the oldest continuously running restaurant in Los Angeles (since 1922). Among the 'usual suspects' there was a wonderful 1927 Aston Martin Sport, a truly ra...  

the better events, people don't feel as enthusiastic about bringing out some of the particularly old cars to some events, so seeing the 1927 Sport, and the more obvious 1964 DB4 was a real treat! Anyway, our next event is seeing the Segerstrom Shelby muse...

It was the first time I saw that 1927 car, a real piece of car history, he did his best to fully preserve it in its original state . As far as my namesake De Neve goes, I do find he was quite an attractive hombre, so your comment is greatly appreciated! L...

Paul, the current owner of the car said he bought it relatively recently, but he wasn't the one who imported it from the UK. Perhaps a good question for when I see him next time. I still haven't fulfilled my lifelong desire to have an Aston of my own, but... 

I'll share it here whenever that event finally happens ........

The DB4 is my favorite of the lot as well, it is in evidently immaculate shape . The E-Type is owned long-term by our Club chairman John who also owns a DB5 in equally splendid condition as of my last sighting.... I hope he'll bring that one along next mo...
