They were built from the parts bins of manufacturers - often quite good parts. Their major weakness to the modern buyer is the tubular steel sub-frame.

. . . and we have just about every car 'n truck imaginable on So Cal roads. Morgans, yes. Lotus? Loads. TVR? No one knows they exist.

To the Us and few were made in LHD drive generally. Almost exclusively a UK phenomenon. And the somewhat newer ones were amongst the best sounding cars out there 🦾

Where they were protesting about keeping the brand alive in front of 10 Downing Street by driving past loudly. Someone with a DB7 of I recall correctly was trying to join in in support but the Aston V12 just sounded so puny in comparison 🤷🏻♂️ ...

Or that difficult to get into. A Chimaera would be the easiest if you want a convertible. The Cerbera even has four reasonably sized seats 👍🏻

. . . and every American muscle car save a Boss 429 Cougar (there were only two made), Lancias, Porsche 550 Spyders . . . every desirable make and model imaginable except TVR. 🤷♂️
I've seen two Spyders, Nicolas, both being driven on northbound Pacific Coast Highway . . .
