Well, I don’t think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. 🫠

While human error is to always be expected, technology can be leveraged in designing solutions to overcome (or minimize) such errors. Case in point is modern car design, which has room to improve. In contrast, going to the other extreme of an autonomous A...

And type in "dashcam videos". The sooner we get people to stop driving cars, the better. Hopefully eventually only enthusiasts who are either competent or don't want to crash their precious will want to drive.

I do agree with that statement! The primary reason why turning everyday personal and family vehicles into tech 'appliances' is going to be more beneficial than not is that it will tangibly reduce the number of crashes and therefore injuries/deaths...........

They have two people riding in front at all times to make sure the vehicle doesn't get 'out of hand'.... Hence my (semi)-autonomous remark ....

Of course, if they run over someone on Montana Avenue, there's a good chance that the victim knows a lot of lawyers. I am also going to call them out for stacking their experiment: that area has many wide streets, excellent visibility around corners, and ...

My twisted mind can think of creative ways to satisfy basic human needs other than food, blame it on easter bunnies

such creations might even be a form of art rather than just an appliance. Also, it needs a "may make sudden stops" warning?
