The C5 was already an unbeatable value and a great sports car. The C6 got only better and the more compact size made it better compatible with the rest of the world 
Now the interior materials caught up and the rest got suitably refined...
I think Chevrolet has finally found the right way for the Corvette and I can only hope they continue on this path. As soon as we move to a country friendlier towards large engined cars, I can see myself being very tempted

current C7 is phenomenal
The new C7 is great, but emotionally I still am fond of my 1998 C5 Coupe, lots of sentimental value because it was my first Corvette and also because I drove it to many special events. Regards, ED-209

It really is different in terms of design, drive train, so efficient yet enough power and quite fast. I will be visiting their factory in Leipzig in June as well as a possible chance to The Quail this year due to their 100 yr anniversary. Rgds Raymond

. . . since my last trip to Long Beach, Ed. I'd planned on going, but had been out and about during the week, and decided to stay home over the weekend instead. Managed to catch some of the racing on TV Saturday afternoon, but not beginning to end. Art
