Porsche debuts its new 2019 911 GT3 RS with 4-Liter flat-6 that revs up to 9,000 rpm. It has 20 more hp than its 2016 predecessor. 0-60 mph in only 3.0 secs which is 0.1 secs faster than the prior GT3 RS, and has a top speed of 193 mph. This new 2019 911 ...  

Delivery is scheduled for July 2018. No, I won’t go for the new lizard green color. I think either GT silver or chalk white will be my choice. Best, Volker

IMO, it’s a must-have because it’s most likely the last naturally aspirated GT3 RS. I adore the sound of those high rev flat six engines. Best, Volker

PDK fits my driving skills better anyway. 😂 Seriously, I prefer PDK over three pedals and a stick. Just got a M2 a couple of days ago with DKG; really great fun. An excellent car and bargain too. HAGWE. ...  

How does it perform on the roads in Europe? Is it still sufficiently quick in accelerating from 130 KPH to 230KPH on the highway? Funny thing, in America, we drive cars with huge engines (5.0L isn't too rare here) and yet we drive 110KPH or a little more.... 

Here it’s very competitive. This is also true for its performance on race tracks, the usage for which it‘s made. Heavy cars usually perform very badly on race tracks. Straight line performance is something different though. Here torgue, which is generated... 

But how about the M2? Does it have sufficient power to accelerate on the autobahn very quickly, particularly at higher speeds? I find most cars are sufficiently quick getting me from 0-100 kph. The bigger problem seems to be accelerating from 130kph to 23... 

Having written that, it's all relative. I've driven the M2 and know it will pull strongly through low triple digits, but IMO it is a better nimble track toy, where it's lightweight and high power/weight pay dividends, than autobahn blitzer. Volker, does t... 

Yes, probably need more HP. It's just that on the autobahn, some people can literally be driving so much faster, the differential can be quite substantial. In USA, the max differential between someone driving too slow to someone speeding is only around 50... 

My dealer will get three and they were allocated a couple of weeks ago. I will get mine in July. Was chasing them for the last two years to get this allocation.

A bit too track oriented for me. I just got my GT3 allocation with a November delivery date. Not quite the RS but nonetheless I am excited. Dave
