A common problem in my neighbourhood is weasels.
They chew the hoses. It happened to me twice. I’m told they find the engine coolant sweet. When my wife, who loves all animals, asked if it died I replied that I hope so.

Never seen a weasel where I live. Black bear (once), mountain lion (once), bobcat, elk, deer, porcupines, coyotes, turkeys, rattlesnakes...
bullsnakes, rabbits, mice, owls, eagles, hawks, groundhogs, and all the other usual birds and critters. Lots of wildlife, which makes it fun. This time of year, I see massive elk almost daily. Very cool.
