Doesn't it look like a Fiat? More italian than french, in my opinion. A small engine, inside: 944 Cm3. But it must be light, and it must give a lot of pleasure behind the wheel. Spartan interior, but not lacking charm... Best, Nicolas ...

Nice one that one; must say I forgot about simca until you remembered us about it. I remember seeing them in my childhood and then no more. Were they acquired for Citroen?

There has been a 1200 version as well that perhaps looks a tad more ’French’ 🇫🇷

In fact, the Simca brand was created in France by Fiat only to avoid import taxes on Fiat cars. All the assembly of the parts was carried out in France. Hence the obvious resemblance of a lot of Fiat models at Simca.

I think we will never find the quality of lead paints... ...
