Larry, I tend to agree I love my Audi RS e-tron, but in the electric genre, Audi is asleep at the wheel. With their new 800-volt architecture, BMW, Mercedes and Volvo are about to introduce, Audi appears to be left in the dust.
2018 Audi RS5 Carbon Edition.
2, 9 liters 6 Cylinders, 445 HP, 0 to 100 Km/h in 3, 8 seconds, which is much better than the former RS5 with its 4, 2 l 8 Cylinders and its 430 HP doing the same exercise in more than 4 seconds. I owned a A5 2 doors, and loved it. The S5 / RS5 is a dream...
Very nice looking Audi (though I agree with you on the rims).
I've been mildly obsessing on the RS6 Avant lately. Maybe someday . . .

Love the color and looks of the Audi…but
After owning a 2021 Audi RS6 Avant and having reliability issues ( at less than 20K miles ) I’m done with the brand. It’s disappointing, because they are so pretty.
My goal is to always have an EV and an ICE car as I do now...different uses...
...when you can charge it at home and just use it around town, charging is not an issue. And some EVs have very good range with the charge time getting less and less each year. And the torque : )
I have had 2 'normal' Audis...
...a leased A6 and an owned (that I still have) A4. Both trouble-free. Maybe because they are not high performance models.
A5/S5/RS5 are lovely things
Had a 3.0TDi quattro in 2011 and was superb in every respect
I drove the later model of a friend...
...even with all-wheel drive it wanted to go sideways it had so much power. Great fun to drive : )

It’s a great car. The last generation also sorted the suspension so as to not shake your teeth loose on bad quality roads like the prior ones 🦷
