I was custodian of just this model, when friends went on a world tour with nowhere to leave the car except my driveway
That was a pretty fun experience but I must say the gearing was a little "short" and at highway speeds the revs were about 4500 RPM.
I could be mistaken though, as it was in 1980 which seems to be a longish time ago!

Oh yes, gearing is very short - but once you get to know it….
I managed to do 180 km/h on the highway last year. Lots of rpm but it still felt like it had more to give even then.
