I hope they had a low operating cost Range Rover...
Maybe a small engine diesel Range Rover!
Not that it makes a major difference percentage wise in the big scheme of things...
I wonder if there's a Range Rover equivalent vehicle that is extremely reliable that is able to be used for high mileage duty.
My friends with personal chauffeurs see the cars get around 25,000 to 40,000 miles per annum. They say it's mainly dependent on how much they send their drivers to pick up other people, the dead-heading mileage can be quite substantial. So, assuming 40,000 miles a year, can a vehicle last several years? Maybe 6 years, around 250,000 miles? Will that work for a Range Rover? Probably will be start being unreliable after the first 3 years with 120,000 (just my impression). Of course, everyone's definition of "reliability" is different, but I can't be heading to a business meeting and then have car trouble...
Just wondering, how do you do this cost-efficiently...
