I have a few problems with this car

I am all for EVs. I believe that's the future, and like quartz watches, it will dramatically reduce the cost of car ownership, eventually.
On the other hand, if I get an electric car, I don't want one that tries to look and behave like an ICE car. It will just be full of comprises. 670HP in an EV is nothing. With a much better power to weight ratio, a Tesla 3 Performance will probably smoke it every day and every night not to mention S Plaid. And this parlor trick fake engine sound, no matter how good that sound reproduction is, everyone knows it is fake. BTW, Hyundai beat it to the market with artificial engine sound with the Ioniq 5N, and Tesla can easily do an over the air update to provide this feature.
I wonder how many potential Challenger buyers were telling themselves "if it were an EV I would have bought it long ago". The new Charger is a nice looking car, but it's much better suited to have a big Hemi engine in there than a battery pack and 2 electric motors. When a car make gets a chance to build an EV, why not think outside of box and build a car that showcases full advantages of being an EV instead of getting weighed down by their legacy designs? Let's see in a year down the line if I am right or wrong.
