I can tell you that Huracans are EXTREMELY reliable.
Mechanically speaking, Huracans are nearly as reliable as Porsches. And are probable the most reliable exotics outside of Porsche. Keep in mind, this Huracan does have a lot of Audi hardware. Oh - it doesn't drive/feel/sound anything like the Audi - so don't worry about the "sullied bloodline" as that's simply a non-issue. The Audi R8 and Huracan share many parts but the Audi sounds boring, rides harsher than the HUracan, has super slow steering ratio compared to the HUracan, and feels "heavy" to drive/brake/change direction.
I haven't driven the Sterrato version. But the normal versions are AMAZING to drive. There is one big problem though. The blind spot is so big, that you have to speed up and slow down to see if something comes into the rear view mirrors. Don't even bother turning your head, you simply don't see anything out the side window nor the rear. Now, imagine you're in an emergency situation, you simply cannot change lanes. I also go to a family member's home often and this requires three lane changes to exit the highway (really poorly designed highway intersection) and this already irritates me in a normal sedan with reasonable blind spots. I would just be even more taxed in this car. The audio system on the base car is pretty bad. And I haven't really heard the upgraded audio system on the Huracan.
The Huracan's blind spot is much worse than the Ferrari 458's which itself is worse than the McLaren 650S/12C. But outside of the blind spot, the really small interior in its category, and the smallest trunk in its category I would argue it is the best in the category. It does have the biggest engine (5.2 liters) in the category too. The seats can be a little firm.
The Huracan has a true dry sump lubrication system, double wishbone suspension, and all the boxes checked for a great machine.
I highly advocate going to the Dark Side. Lord Vader to Luke Skywalker: "Son, come with me [to the Dark Side], it's the only way..."
