I can see that...

I've driven the Phantom Sedan and Phantom Coupe and did find them to be overly large cars.  They're very responsive cars, but overall, due to their size and the thin-ness of the steering wheel, they're steered less like a car and more like a barge.  But overall, I find the Phantom line of cars very attractive and very impressive.  The technology in them is also undisputedly good.

The Ghost, which I've had the pleasure of driving only twice is very much a closer to normal car.  A little bit less special than the Phantom and not unique in the driving feel.  It's very similar to a BMW 750Li but with 12 cylinders (keep in mind, they share a similar platform).  The Ghost is definitely something I could get in and drive and be very comfortable and familiar with.

At the end of the day, I just don't find the Ghost that special when I'm in it (maybe it's because I've already been in the Phantom).  The Phantom feels like a living room.  You can talk, talk loudly, revel, and move around in.  The back seat is more sofa than back seat.  Whereas the Ghost feels like a normal car, something you should stay seated in.  There's just something magical about that Phantom that can't be reproduced in the Ghost.  But, when it comes to driving alone, sans-friends, sans-acquaintances, the Ghost is the car you want to be driving.
