Car Fairy, where art thou!?
Ooh, I have been waiting for this moment for my whole life!
1. Car of my dreams, any era any price: 1930 Duesenberg LeBaron Barrelside. It is such a stunning automobile and from such an historically important maker. Only 42000 miles, too!
2. Any car in current production: Pagani Huayra, now that it is legal in the 'States.
3. Car once in the family: 1973 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5. Such a beautiful and outstanding car to drive. Once owned by my grandfather. Gorgeous and classic Paul Bracq design constructed in such fabulously overbuilt German fashion! I have so many amazing childhood memories attached to that car.
Alternate current production cars include the Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari 458 (I think it's one of the verrrrry few of their models that will be lastingly pretty), and Lamborghini Aventador. The any era any price category can go on forever! McLaren F1 is on my mind now, however!

A difficult question.
But if I have to answer I choose the following: Current production choice would be a Ferrari 458 Spider and the family past would be a 1957 Corvette (fuel injected). Need to clean out my garage now. JerryW
