Aston Martin …

The famous “wings” badge has been honed and streamlined, with the internal ‘curve’ element removed for a cleaner appearance.
The first version was introduced back in 1932. Before that, a simple ‘AM’ logotype was used before creating a stylised, wing-shaped device that we all recognise today.
In the109 year history, Aston Martin has only gone through eight different badges.
The latest version has been designed by the iconic British graphic designer Peter Saville and importantly are hand-crafted and enamelled at Vaughtons silversmiths in Birmingham, England.
The new “Wings” will be gradually rolled out over the next 18 months and a new visual campaign, ‘Intensity. Driven.’, accompanies the new wings focusing on the extreme Valkyrie indicating the latest design direction for Aston Martin.
I’m looking forward to seeing the new set of wings on an Aston soon !
