And hello from another 67 250sl

This was taken in Greece a few years ago. A vintage get together. Four Mercedes SL in this shot.

They are such reliable cars. Took mine on a European tour a couple of years ago. It’s now in having a frame off restoration.

Love the colour on this as well. Personally I find the Euro version of the bumper and headlights more to my taste as well.

No doubt...

Aaaand a few watch-related pictures. Claus ...

Yes! 1967 all the way

 By: cfn : January 5th, 2021-20:44
Hi Amanico, I can confirm that my Polaris is a 1967 model as well, as you can see on the picture. The note was the feedback from a verification done by the Manufacture during a visit in 2018 So in that way, it’s a full 1967 set - the Pagoda and the Polari...

I have to stop and think every time I read the note.

 By: cfn : January 6th, 2021-08:05
I believe the large number and the year refers to the caliber 825 and not the reference E859 (Polaris).

And they actually add ‘date de sortie de la montre juin 1967}’ below...

 By: cfn : January 6th, 2021-08:07
which translates into production date of the watch, June 1967, if my French language skills serve me correctly.

Here’s the inside view

Mine is the silver black.

Although I am rather partial to the silver red combination... I took the Greek picture as I was contemplating changing the paint during the restoration - I ultimately kept it original.
