Thank you for the kind words. The biggest differences between the 2013 and 2014 are cosmetic. The 2014 has a new front fascia and single head lights on each side (as opposed to the split lights on the 13), but that is really for the sport model. Since I w...

I drove a Volvo S40 for the last 7 years, so this is quite a bit of a jump. Really impossible to compare. The Volvo was a good car and gave us zero problems for 125k miles. The S40 was actually purchased for my wife, but soon after we started having kids ...

...MM is the same of GP fame. Mike has a E350 Bluetec that he loves and really provided a lot of personal experience that was very helpful. For the maintenance, I'm in the loop on the pricey nature of repairs and that there will be an issue or two popping... 

Is Mike Margolis an employee of the watch industry (Girard Perregaux), Mercedes-Benz corporate, or the Mercedes-Benz dealership? I'm guessing it's the dealership. Are you going to get the extended CPO warranty? Congrats!

I didn't opt for the extended CPO, but did purchase the pre-paid maintenance. I figure that if I do still have the car beyond 100k miles or 4 years from now, I'll shop around for extended maintenance programs. Who knows what they will look like then...

Looks like a keeper of a car! I bet you'll have it and still be enjoying it for many years. After all, you still have 300,000 miles to go.
