A 1968 Dodge Polara-izing Mopar

Out of all the great Mopar models that exist, I personally find this one very appealing. Spotted on the curb covered wtih dust due to constant truck & trailer traffic. Looks a real beauty inside.

The raked roofline, polished Cragar wheels and rectangular exhaust tips make this one a winner for me. The only powerplant available was a 383 cubic inch, naturally aspirated, overhead valve, V8 developing 330 bhp  at 5000 rpm, and maximum torque of 425 ft lb at 3200 rpm pushing through a 3 speed automatic gearbox.

That’s a big Rambler, made by Kelvinator / Nash / Rambler and as pointed out, there’s a Buick Roadmaster too. I haven’t even shown you the French Lowrider Citroen SM hidden behind the fence. I’ll check my pictures - I’m sure I have other photos of these c...

Never saw Cragars with that type of spokes before.

A nice one indeed. And one of the hottest police cars too. I love these Polaras. But the 1955 Buick Roadmaster in the background of the last photo is a beauty too ;-))

very nice cars

Mopar fans refer to these C-body models . . .

. . . as 'fuselage' types. I've seen a brown '70 Monaco 440 Magnum backed up by a 4-speed(!) that has to be one of the least common muscle cars around. And among the most affordable if you can find one. Art
